Last October, we moved the time of our sittings from 5pm to 10am because of Winter. (Michigan winters are a challenge and didn’t want anyone driving in the dark in the winter.)
During Spring and Summer people take vacations, spend time with families, go to church, other Zen centers. Plus, from time to time, we have people who join us from other time zones. An evening sitting works better for them.
So, this week, we moved the time of our sittings back to 5pm.
Our next public sitting will be Sunday, May 21, at 5pm (Eastern). The next two Sundays – May 7 and May 14 – will be taken up by family matters, including Mother’s Day on May 14.
Welcome to Spring and Summer in Michigan!
